AoBBA Announce 2017 Regional Test Piece Workshop

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators (AoBBA) will host their 2017 Regional Test Piece Workshop on Sunday January 22nd at 13.00pm.

Time and place

The event, featuring Unite the Union Band, will be held at Bailiff Bridge Community Centre, 1 Victoria Road, Bailiff Bridge, Brighouse (HD6 4DX) on Sunday 22nd January, and aims to provide extensive insight into the works that will challenge the competitors in Sections Two, Three and Four.

Exploring

It starts promptly at 13.00pm, and is open to all band members, conductors and interested parties, and aims to provide extensive insight into the works that will challenge the competitors in Sections Two, Three and Four.
There will be ample opportunity to discuss the various works in detail as well as exploring aspects of their contest preparation.

Presenters

The presenters are Nick Garman (Rhapsody in Brass), David Hirst (Darkwood) and Alan Duguid (St Andrew’s Variations) whilst Simone Rebello will also be on hand to give advice on percussion requirements and relevant percussion performance practice.
