The 28th Elland Silver Band Slow Melody Contest was held on Sunday 14th May, all judged by adjudicator for the day, Sandy Smith. A spokesperson for the event told A4B: ‘Once again, an excellent standard of playing was on show and we would like to thank everyone who helped and supported this year’s event.’
