Wantage End Year With New Percussion Duo

Wantage top a great year with two new percussion signings as they look back on what has been a fantastic twelve months of ambition and success.

With a win at the Spring Festival Senior Trophy and podium finishes at the L&SC Area Contest and Welsh Open, MD Paul Holland is certainly having a big influence over them.

Two new percussionists have recently joined the ranks. George Groves joins the band from Cold Ash Brass and Ryan Hanley joins after playing for Fishburn Band for a number of years – now relocated for work to Oxford.

Band Manager Sam Wyne told A4B: “It’s great to have a percussion section of such high calibre. The band and the WSB organisation will benefit hugely from these new signings.”
